Lanzafame Furniture Company was founded in 1915 by Camillo Lanzafame, the grand father of the current business owner, Chris Lanzafame, to serve the home furnishing needs of the local Contra Costa community. During the early century, Pittsburg was a small river-side community comprised of fishermen, miners, and factory workers. Camillo realized that there was an opportunity to provide fine crafted home furnishings for families in Contra Costa County. The business flourished through the generations, growing as Contra Costa county grew. In 1947, Lanzafame Furniture Company moved to it’s current location at 711 Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg, and continued the tradition of providing fine quality furniture to the local residents.
